Friday night's storms look to have marked the end of Dorset's heatwave - for the time being at least.
After a cooler, cloudier weekend, with temperatures peaking at 20C, the forecast for the week is for more cloud and some showers.
Monday is set to be mainly cloudy with sunny intervals this afternoon and a maximum temperature of 19C. Tuesday will start with some rain, possibly thundery, before clearing in the afternoon. And Wednesday and Thursday look set to be cloudy.
But the Met Office says the fine sunny weather will be back on Friday and could stay for the whole weekend - although next week will see more rain.
