BOURNEMOUTH’S Anya Kay and Great Britain team-mate Mica McNeill finished seventh-fastest on the second day of women’s bobsleigh competition in Calgary.
The duo clocked 1:56.86 over two runs at the Americas Cup event.
That overall time meant rookie brakewoman Kay and driver McNeill finished 1.17 seconds behind the fastest pairing, Elana Meyers Taylor and Cherrelle Garrett of the United States, in the 13-crew event.
McNeill had already won bronze the previous day for her efforts alongside Sian Huxtable.
Kay did not compete in the first run as she was recovering from an injury sustained in training.
