A GROUP has been established to distribute tens of thousands of pounds to good causes in Three Legged Cross.
The 3LX Solar Fund Group will hand out a total of £13,000, donated annually by developers of Homeland Solar Farm for the next 25 years. More than £1,500 has gone to Steve Saville of Forest FM and Pastor Jeremy Andrews of Verwood Road Evangelical Chapel.
Group member Heather May said: “We wish Steve and Jeremy success with their ventures and look forward to enabling other groups in the future.”
Applications for further grant aid funding are now invited for any other groups or individuals with projects or ideas to benefit the Three Legged Cross community.
Anyone wishing to apply must do so by December 18 – for more information, visit homelandsolarfarm.co.uk
