Firefighters tackle van fire in Merley layby
FIREFIGHTERS from Poole have extinguished a fire that had taken hold of a van parked in a lay-by in Arrowsmith Road, Merley.
Four calls were made to the service at around 9.30pm, and two hose reel jets were used to put out the flames.
No one was injured in the incident, and the cause is under investigation.
