A TEENAGE boy was threatened with a knife by two men who attacked him and pushed him against a fence.
They demanded the 17-year-old hand over his mobile phone but fled when their victim explained that he did not carry one.
A female passer-by also approached and told the men to leave the teenager alone during the incident in the Crookhays area of Shaftesbury.
The victim was approached in an alleyway between the Longmead industrial estate and Lane Side at half past midnight on Saturday September 27.
Both attackers are white and of medium build but the victim was unable to provide a more detailed description.
Police Constable Mike Henstridge, of Gillingham police, said: βI am keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information that can assist with the investigation.
βIn particular I would like to speak with the woman who disturbed the offenders as she may have vital information that could identify them. Unfortunately there is no description of the woman available.β
