ONLINE fraud is big business and it must be difficult for the authorities to catch the scammers.
We must all be vigilant at all times when we use the internet.
But sometimes it is easier said than done, especially when affairs of the heart come into it.
We report today on a case where a 56-year-old Bournemouth woman was conned out of more than £13,000 by a man she met on a dating website.
We have a great deal of sympathy for her and trust that those who carried out the scam will be caught.
