STUDENTS are being reminded that they may be able to claim a partial refund on their television licence.
TV Licensing South West has said studetns may be able to claim £35.67 back. Those who purchased a TV license at the start of the academic year will have three months remaining on their license and refunds can be claimed for that period. Students needing a TV Licence could be leaving their halls or accommodation and moving to a licensed address.
Richard Chapman, spokesperson for TV Licensing South West, said: “We encourage those who bought their licence at the start of the academic year to take advantage of it.”
