COBHAM Aviation Services has earned gold in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (Rospa) Occupational Health and Safety Awards for the fourth year running.
Each award is decided by independent adjudicators who examine an organisation’s health and safety arrangements and evidence of their application.
Rob Pendle, general manager of Cobham Engineering and Aviation Services, said: “To receive a gold award four times in a row is a fantastic achievement and I believe it reflects the collective effort of all of our people to ensure that staff, contractors and customers enjoy a safe working environment at all times.”
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
The award was for all Cobham Aviation Services’ engineering and aviation services locations in the UK, including at Bournemouth Airport.
