THE WIFE and daughter of Michael Brown, who was killed in a car crash on the A31 near Winterborne Zelston on Monday evening, have been released from hospital.
Police have confirmed a seven-year-old girl and 37-year-old woman, who were passengers in the family’s Skoda at the time of the collision, have been discharged from Poole General Hospital. They both suffered what police described as “serious injuries” but are now in a stable condition.
Mr Brown suffered fatal injuries after the family’s car was in collision with a blue Subaru travelling in the opposite direction. The 43-year-old, who lived with his family in Sturminster Marshall, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old man from Taunton, Somerset, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Witnesses are asked to contact Dorset Police on 101.
