A MAN has appeared in court following the death of young father Daniel Robbie.
Matthew James of Stoneylawn in Winterborne Kingston, did not enter a plea to two separate charges of failing to stop and failing to report an accident at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court this morning.
It is the first time the 27-year-old has appeared in court in connection with the death of Mr Robbie on the Upton Bypass last year.
Mr Robbie, 23, of Throop Close in Bournemouth, died while riding a child's micro scooter home along the busy road.
His body was discovered in undergrowth on Sunday, September 15, hours after mum Julie Croucher posted a series of desperate messages on Facebook urging friends to look out for her missing son.
James will come before the court again on February 19.
