A FERNDOWN-based IT company is celebrating its 25th anniversary by expanding its offices to recruit more staff.

Bistech has a number of new positions at their headquarters and has been in the area since 1988.

Managing director Jocelyn Brown said: “We have an impressive 25-year timeline of achievement and we have our people to thank for that.

“The majority of our team have been with us for nine years or more and we think that fact speaks for itself.

“Bistech has defied the recession with continued growth and this is an exciting time to be with the company and to join the company.

“Our staff are crucial to our success and when we recruit someone, we offer them on-going training and development and a rewarding career.”

Bistech is a privately owned, independent company that established itself as an employer in the Dorset area in 1988.

Today, it is a market leader of business networks, as well as voice and data communications systems, with industry heavyweights like Toshiba and The White Company as clients.

The extended headquarters will mean that there is double the office space in the building, with a high standard of interior design to create a “dynamic” working environment for employees.

A number of new positions have been created, including roles in corporate sales development, B2B telemarketing, technical helpdesk, field engineers, recruitment and more.

Bistech is also a supporter of Bournemouth University Business School and sponsors the Bistech Award for Best Corporate Study to students annually, at the university’s graduation ceremony.
