IF the storms predicted for Sunday night and this morning come to pass, it would have been a miserable start to the week for most. Not to mention the fact that half term starts today and there is likely to be many a bored child sat indoors.
But what we can all do in severe weather is help each other out and be sensible.
In putting together our coverage yesterday, we saw two opposite examples – one where a man drove straight through deep flood water at Branksome Chine, causing his car to expire and block the road, and another where a resident was out trying to unblock a drain at Durley Chine in a bid to make life easier for others.
We can’t control the weather, but what we can do is look out for each other and ourselves.
