Power cuts affected homes in East Dorset
HOMES in the Wimborne area were without power on Saturday night and into Sunday.
Some residents were without power for several hours and suffered more than one outage.
Southern Electric found that wires had come down in the Ashington area and made repairs.
Power was restored by dawn.
The emergency services have not reported any weather-related incidents overnight so far.
