Year 4 pupil Amelie Chapman, eight, said: “We do a lot of fun things at this school. Sports days are great fun and the school trips are really good as well.”

Edward Wooster, eight, in Year 4 said: “It is brilliant at this school. We are saving the planet and recycling as much as we can. I like maths and I also enjoy PE, particularly rugby.”

Naledi Jagger, eight, said: “I am one of the Eco Warriors at the school and we also have a really good school council. I like philosophy and I love music because I play lots of instruments including the piano, flute, percussion and recorder.”

Teaching Assistant Debbie Ursell, one of the organisers of the GrandHordles project, said: “The relationships between GrandHordles and children is very important. Everyone benefits from this project.”

Parent Charlotte Bartolomeo, who has a child in year 3, said: “I think it is a fantastic school. Provision for the children is excellent across the board. The teachers are fantastic and it is very well organised. Children are loved, cared for and challenged.”

Jenny Storey lives out of catchment but chose the school for her child. She said: “It is a nurturing environment and well as a good educational environment. Everything at this school is very positive.”
