A CAKE shop in Canford Cliffs has chosen Lewis Manning Hospice as its chosen charity of the year.
Lulubelle’s Cakes and Tearooms, on Haven Road, are currently selling special Lewis rocky road cupcakes, with a percentage of the profits from each cake sold going to the good cause.
Louisa Jenkins, owner of the shop, said that it was on their customers’ recommendations that they chose Lewis Manning Hospice.
She said: “When we first opened, we decided to select one charity for the year and puts all our efforts towards that.
“This summer, we asked our staff and customers for suggestions and they overwhelmingly voted for Lewis-Manning.
“We’re proud to be able to support such a worthwhile charity, which is so local to us, and this makes it feel like we can really get involved.”
