Pedestrian hurt after collision with car on Northbourne Avenue
A PEDESTRIAN is said to be in “considerable pain” after being in collision with a car in Northbourne, Bournemouth.
Police received a call from a member of the public at 4.56pm and the road was closed at the junction of Pinewood Avenue.
The accident itself was on Wimborne Road, between Northbourne Avenue and Pinewood Avenue.
A police spokesperson said: “An ambulance is currently en route and the male appears to be in considerable pain."
The car involved was a silver Volkswagen golf registered to a man from Poole.
The victim was treated in an ambulance at the scene. The road has now reopened.
