Please note, this story is from July. You can find all the details of the schedule at bournemouthecho.co.uk/air - including details of the Vulcan's one appearance.

The full line up for the 2013 Bournemouth Air Festival has been announced - but the Vulcan won't be there.

As previously reported in the Echo, festival favourites the Red Arrows, the Eurofighter TYphoon and the Battle of Britain memorial flight will all display along the seafront during the four-day festival.

Last month, Air Festival director Jon Weaver appealed for sponsorship to help bring the Vulcan back to the skies for this year's festival.

He told the Echo then: “The Vulcan is a magnificent aircraft... unfortunately the high costs involved in keeping her flying are reflected in the display charges, which are approaching £9,000 for a single short appearance.

“We have to look for sponsorship support if we are to see the Vulcan in Bournemouth this year. If there are any parties that are interested in helping to bring the Vulcan to the air festival and would like to discuss it further, they should contact me at jon.weaver@bournemouth.gov.uk"

The RAF's Red Arrows display team will be taking to the skies on Thursday, August 29, Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31.

Demonstrations will be staged at 4 pm on Thursday and Friday and noon on Saturday, with the ear-splitting Typhoon putting on a show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Exact timings for the other attractions are not known but there will be a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane) each day with the Tutor and Tucano training aircraft also making appearances.

Other attractions will include appearances by the Tigers and Red Devils Parachute Display Teams, The Blades, and Miss Demeanour Hunter Jet as well as Brendan O'Brien's Flying Circus.

Five Royal Navy frigates will be at sea along with the French Navy L'Etoile training ship. Details of the timings will be announced later. The Red Devils and the SWIP team will be back for the Night Air displays.
