PLANS to build a temporary fourth stand at AFC Bournemouth’s stadium have been drawn up and lodged with the council.
The application seeks full planning permission to build a temporary stand, with roof and integral stair-cases, at the south end of the Goldsands Stadium. It will cater for an extra 2,350 people.
The application states: “The requirement for the new stand is borne out of football club’s recent promotion into the football league Championship. The stand will cater for an anticipated greater capacity of spectators, generated locally by the club’s success, and the larger away following of Championship teams.”
Residents have until July 6 to comment on the plans, which can be seen in full here
