WINSTON Road in Bournemouth has been closed this afternoon following a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
Emergency services were alerted and the road was closed both ways following the collision at 1.30 pm.
A Dorset police spokeswoman said a Vauxhall Vectra, registered to a Bournemouth woman, was involved.
The cyclist; a 60-year-old Bournemouth woman, has been taken to Poole hospital for treatment for serious injuries. The road has re-opened.
