A woman driver escaped without injury when her car overturned on the Upton bypass on Wednesday morning.
Her green Ford Ka veered off the westbound carriageway shortly before the Upton turn - off and ended up on its roof.
The incident, which did not involve any other vehicle, happened around 8.25am and caused traffic problems in the area.
A police spokesman said the woman, believed to be from Poole, had a lucky escape.
A dog in the car was also unhurt.
