PARENT Paul Cook, who has a daughter in Year 2, said: “We looked at a lot of schools before we chose Yarrells and it has been fantastic. There is a real sense of family and all the children know each other.”

LUCY Chewins is head of Early Years music and also has a child in the nursery.  She said: “It is very  friendly at Yarrells.  When I wake up in the morning I want to come to work because it is a lovely place to be.”

PARENT John Palmer-Snellin said: “We get good feedback from the school and can see anyone we want to.  Our son plans to stay here in Year 7 because he is not quite ready to move on.”

CLARE Cunningham, head of learning support and pastoral care, is also a parent of a Year 3 pupil.
She said: “The school is supportive of all children. Individuals can develop at their own pace.”

HEAD of PE Gary Schneider said: “This is the nicest school I have ever worked in.  The children look after each other and accept each other’s differences.  Everyone is made to feel very welcome here.”

YEAR 7 pupil Millie Atkins, 11, said: “I have been at this school since reception and everybody is like family here.  It is really friendly and I have decided to stay here for year 7 and year 8.”

DARIA Dehghani, 12, is also in Year 7.  She said: “I started here in the nursery and it’s a friendly place.  Everyone is really caring and they understand all your problems. We get the chance to be in school plays.”
