A FILM of Mudeford, created by a Christchurch-based film maker has been awarded three-stars at an amateur film festival.
Mudeford Mood, created by Eric Montague, with music by State of Undress, was awarded the stars by the British International Amateur Film Festival and shows as part of their event later this month.
Eric said: “I’m delighted that my short film Mudeford Mood has received recognition by BIAFF.
“They receive hundreds of entries each year so to be awarded three-stars when there is such high quality international competition is very exciting and extremely encouraging.
“Mudeford Mood is a bit of a departure from my usual subject matter.
“I first met State of Undress a couple of years ago when they were performing in the High Street for the Christchurch Christmas Festival.
“I just immediately loved their music and the vibrancy and colour of their performance. I have been following them around the country for the last two years on a rather wild and wonderful adventure which has taken me across to Ireland and to the highest and possibly the windiest music venue in England on top of a mountain in Yorkshire.”
