A FALLEN tree caused traffic disruption along Gervis Road in Bournemouth town centre this morning.
The branch of a Monterey pine fell at around 10.10am on the road in Lansdowne, narrowly missing a parked car.
The council's landscape team were called to remove the branch.
Jeff Tinney, Arboriculture Officer for Bournemouth Parks at Bournemouth Council, said: “A lady was parked close to the tree when it happened and there was something underneath it, I believe just minutes before it fell.
“However, no damage has been caused to any cars, the road, or people. Our landscape team will cut up the branch, chip it, and have this cleared within 45 minutes.”
