THE Bishop of Salisbury, the Right reverend Nicholas Holtam, has officially opened and rededicated Stoborough Primary School.
Builders refurbished the old Victorian part of the school, which has become a primary school under the recent Purbeck-wide education shake-up.
They built a new library and an atrium expanding on to four new classrooms.
Stoborough CE VA Primary School head teacher Deborah Corbin said: “Everyone worked extremely hard to keep disruption to a minimum and the result is a space which is truly inspirational.
“The children and staff feel privileged to have such fantastic facilities for learning.”
The bishop was welcomed by the children lining the path in front of the school.
