Delays on A31 after three-vehicle collision

A COLLISION on the A31 is causing delays for motorists this morning.

The three-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A31 has blocked one lane, leading to slow moving traffic.

Queues are building up on the A338 as a result of the collision.

The incident took place at 7.25am this morning, between the flyover and the Hightown turn-off.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said the nearside lane is blocked.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

Police are on the scene and awaiting recovery for the vehicles, which include two BMWs and a Peugeot.
