ONCE overnight rain and sleet clears away, today is set to be a largely dry, cloudy day with a few bright spells and temperatures staying above freezing.

There will be some bright spells tomorrow but some showers with the mercury expected to rise to a maximum of 3C (37F).

Monday will be a fairly cloudy day, with rain and possibly sleet, and a maximum temperature of 4C (39F).

Scattered wintry showers will continue on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to rise slightly.
