ENTERPRISING students from Bournemouth University have organised “A Night on the Titanic” at the Captain’s Club Hotel in Christchurch.
The event, organised by four events management students, will take place on February 17.
Guests will enjoy a drinks reception while being entertained by a string quartet before dining on the original menu, served on board the Titanic.
Live music will then be provided by the Funkadelics with a casino also available. Profits will go to the RNLI at Mudeford.
Managing director of the hotel, Tim Lloyd said: “When the group pitched the idea we felt they had the enthusiasm and commitment to put theory into practice.
“It may be courageous on our part but the hotel lends itself to putting on a such a grand occasion and with all the hotel’s crew fully behind the students and helping re-create this special event, it promises to be a celebration not to be missed.”
For tickets, which cost £85, contact the hotel on 01202 475111.
