THIS time out, bored multi-millionaire superstar, Robbie Williams lines up a cast of self-styled mavericks to boost his own renegade rating.
William Orbit, Joey Negro, Soul Mekanik and Pet Shop Boys join new songwriting partner Stephen Duffy as Robbie raps, twists, turns and tackles a series of ill-advised covers and raggle taggle originals.
More than that, he chooses to reference the likes of Bowie and Madonna, putting them on pedestals when he should be deconstructing them.
Actually, you're right, Robbie, you really aren't worthy.
Which is, perversely, the best thing about this record and the reason why I like it better than any of his others - I think he knows he's a chancer who got lucky.
Top blag, mate!
