EVER fancied a trip to Alaska? Well forget about a long haul trip across the world to the cold US state, but rather a quick trip the Lighthouse Poole for a totally unique play that boldly follows in the intrepid footsteps of Bear Grylls and Ray Mears.

The chilly show uses film, firelight, shadow, and one heck of a soundtrack, challenging our views on modern living. Alaska sees one man goes in search of adventure, freedom and “a piece of the good life”, but soon finds that the reality is no picnic.

Plummeting temperatures, technical disasters (and a severe lack of any practical skills whatsoever) soon plunge our hero into a nightmarish world of extreme survival, haunted by all things living and dead.

You can travel to Alaska on March 13 at the Lighthouse Poole.
