A NEW Bournemouth dining experience opened last week that should cater for foodies, theatre-goers and visitors alike.

Offering a taste of Dorset, the brand new glass fronted Terrace Bistro, Café and Bar overlooks the town’s Lower Gardens and towards the bay.

The contemporary menu offers a lip smacking array of some of the region’s finest and freshly made produce. During the day the new eaterie is perfect for a coffee, gourmet sandwich and cake.

By the evening the Terrace Bistro becomes a centrally located destination for a glass of wine and delicious bistro style sharing platter. The venue provides night owls and pre theatre diners with a brand new eating experience in a unique location.

The Terrace Bistro is open daily and is also ideal for relaxed informal gatherings and has free Wi-Fi access for customers. Peter Gunn, Chief Executive for BH Live said; “The Terrace Bistro, Café & Bar, operated by BH Live Hospitality provides a high-quality dining experience at the Bournemouth Pavilion and this is fantastic news for our customers.”

The Bistro Platters come highly recommended, as 24SEVEN can testify for the mouth-wateringly good potted duck and red onion chutney with toasted sourdough. Local specialities on the menu also include several different Dorset cheeses, hams and clotted cream.

Alex Robertson of BH Live noted at a recent launch evening: “In the 1920s, cream teas were the best selling item at the Pavilion and so far we’ve found that they still are.”

A special opening offer is currently underway, where customers can enjoy 2 for 1 on the ‘Bistro Platters to Share’ at the Terrace Bistro, Café & Bar. This offer is not available between 5pm – 7.30pm and runs until June 22.
