Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid was interrupted on air when a cameraman smashed into the show’s studio set.
She had barely started speaking on the ITV show on Thursday morning when a loud bang was heard behind the scenes.
Taken by surprise, she called to co-star Kate Garraway, who was standing near the crash, asking: “Are you okay?”
Kate, who turns 50 next week, joked: “Just bits of me are falling off. I’m nearly 50, it happens.”
Presenter Ben Shephard reassured viewers that it was actually just a chunk of wood breaking off the set after a cameraman accidentally “reversed” into it.
As the “collateral damage” was shown on screen, Ben joked that it was the effect of upcoming guest Boris Johnson on the studio.
The Foreign Secretary spoke on the show after labelling Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn a “mutton-headed mugwump”.
