MILKSHAKE is my salvation when getting ready for work in the morning.
Bubbly, brightly dressed presenters introducing a string of upbeat kids’ programmes keep the little ones occupied until breakfast time.
So a live tour featuring much of the same was bound to be a hit.
Parents were asked to turn their mobile phones to “silent”, and their kids to “loud”, while babies in arms right through to schoolchildren sat enthralled for a fun-filled hour.
Favourite characters, including Fifi, Noddy, Roary the Racing Car, Little Princess and Bananas in Pyjamas came to life before our eyes having escaped from the TV.
The show was interspersed with bouncy song and dance numbers, with which the little ones were only too happy to join in.
My five and three-year-olds loved it – not sure my eardrums could say the same!
