Gear up for the hairiest gala
RAY Dorset (left), the legendary voice of Mungo Jerry, will be making sure it’s all fun In the Summertime at the Gorilla Gala in Bournemouth on Saturday.
The event is being staged at the Carrington House Hotel by the Dorset-based charity Gearing Up 4 Gorillas to raise funds for the Senkwekwe Centre, the first ever facility for orphan mountain gorillas in the war-torn Virunga National Park of DR Congo.
Entertainment also includes Congolese band Kasai Masai and there’s a live satellite link-up with Ranger Diddy from the Virunga.
