OFFICIALLY the country’s best family festival, Camp Bestival returns to Lulworth Castle from July 30 to August 1 with its best line-up so far and a jam-packed weekend of fun for kids aged 1 to 100.

And you could be there with your family for free – on us!

The ever-busy bees at Camp Bestival HQ have rightly been buzzing about this year’s line-up and have given us two family passes – that’s two adults and up to four kids – to give away in a very special competition.

Having won Best Family Festival at last year’s UK Festival Awards, Radio 1 DJ and Camp Bestival organiser Rob da Bank has again booked some of the greatest music acts in the world.

From the original Nutty Boys, Madness, to synth-pop heroes The Human League and Brit-nominated electro-funkers Friendly Fires, there are some truly big hitters on display.

The support cast is no less inspiring with indie institution The Fall, torch song troubadour and former Soft Cell frontman Marc Almond and pop-dance chart-topper Calvin Harris. And once the kids are safely tucked up in bed (Boutique Babysitting is available for the first time this year), there’s a top-class DJ line-up including Annie Mac, DJ Yoda, Mr Scruff, Joker and Rob da Bank himself.

But it’s not just about the music – there’s great comedy from the likes of Rufus Hound, Marcus Brigstocke, Andrew Maxwell and Tim Minchin, a spoken word stage curated by top 40 rapper Scroobius Pip, plus cultural highlights brought to you by fabulous British institutions such as Tate Britain and the English National Ballet.

Good quality food and drink will be available throughout the whole weekend – with local hero Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on hand again this year with his River Cottage Café.

Meanwhile, kids will go wild for three whole days of BBC TV’s Mr Tumble, Zippo’s Festival Circus, medieval jousting, Let’s Go Crazy teen discos and the annual fancy-dress parade (this year’s theme is fairy tales).
