AFTER storming the UK festival circuit this summer, The Easy Star All-Stars head indoors for an autumn tour that includes Mr Kyps, Poole, on Friday.
The band’s third album, Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band – a re-imagining of The Beatles’ classic Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band – came out in April and their magical mystery tour of the UK will see them showcase tunes from their whole catalogue, including earlier albums Dub Side of the Moon and Radiodread.
With a line-up culled from New York’s finest reggae musicians, Easy Star All-Stars have become renowned for transforming timeless albums into reggae gems.
The All-Stars’ travelling companions will be label mates John Brown’s Body, whose latest studio album, Amplify, came out last week.
