STARS COME OUT: Spike Edney's SAS band play Lighthouse on December 17
MUSICIANS Fish (Marillion), Paul Young and Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band) are the first big names confirmed to join Queen’s musical director and keyboard player Spike Edney’s SAS Band at Poole’s Lighthouse on December 17.
In addition to being Queen’s MD and keyboard player since 1984, Edney has a touring and recording CV that reads like a Who’s Who of rock ’n’ roll. This extensive network of close musician friends forms the basis his All Star Band – The SAS Band.
They include Roger Taylor (Queen), Roger Daltrey (The Who), The Sugababes, Annie Lennox, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin.
