SIXTIES pop star Gerry Marsden has been forced to withdraw from the Sixties Gold tour show running at the Lighthouse Poole on Friday. The promoters said: “I regret to inform everyone that owing to a serious medical condition, Gerry Marsden has been forced to withdraw from the Sixties Gold tour.”
The Pacemakers will still be appearing and fellow rock legend Spencer Davis is to replace Gerry.
Spencer Davis boasts a string of hits from 1964 to 1968 including the number one’s Keep On Running and Somebody Help Me as well as the Top 10 hits Gimme Some Loving and I’m A Man.
