PINK Floyd fans are in for a treat when The Regent Centre plays host to top Dorset tribute band UK Pink Floyd Experience.

The nine-piece band replicates the line-up of the full live Pink Floyd touring band of the late ’80s and ’90s.

With state-of-the-art sound and a spectacular light show, the aim is to perfect the atmosphere of the great Pink Floyd in concert. Songs from Dark Side of The Moon through to Division Bell are featured, so fans of all ages should find something from their era.

All of the nine band members are seasoned musicians who are joined by a choreographed and costumed three-girl backing vocal section.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Paul Andrews fronts the band and has a voice that is remarkably similar to David Gilmour’s.

Paul has worked hard to perfect his vocal delivery aiming to replicate every nuance and intonation used by Mr Gilmour.

Needless to say, he can play guitar too.

What started as a one-off show at Weymouth Pavilion 15 years ago has turned into one of the most popular and realistic acts around UK Pink Floyd, formerly known as The Great Gig in the Sky, are a fantastic experience of superb sound and state-of-the-art visuals, lighting and top musicianship to boot.
