SHE has performed on some of the world's biggest stages from Glastonbury to The White House, but Wednesday night it was Bournemouth's turn.
Global star Rita Ora rose through the floor of the BIC in a sparkly white gown, complete with matching Doc Martens – a fitting entrance to kick off the second date of her Phoenix tour.
Ora is one of those stars who sound exactly like they do in their recordings when singing live – but with an extra helping of sass.
She has an impressive stage presence, completely at home sashaying around with her dancers, with no sign of the foot injury she told us she had sustained earlier that day (hence the Doc Martens).
There were a couple of slightly slower numbers, like the empowering Soul Survivor, but it was predominantly a night to party.
The hits just kept on coming, and it wasn't long before the hugely diverse crowd were up on their feet.
Wasn't Looking for Love; Sad Songs; Wish I Could Let You Love Me; I Will Never Let You Down; I'm Coming Home and Hot Right Now and Anywhere were all in there, as well as a throwback to her first single RIP, and other favourites such as Black Widow and Doing It.
From the pure white theme of the opening numbers, we were taken to a brightly coloured, almost psychedelic look, followed by a darker black setting, complete with cage, before Ora was "reborn" and rose again sporting a huge pair of wings.
Great songs, great atmosphere – thoroughly entertaining.
