MANY households across Christchurch and New Milton have been left without internet today.
Broadband customers with BT are experiencing issues, with reports of problems across the two towns, including in Highcliffe.
The telecommunications giant said it is aware of the issue and engineers are working to fully restore services as soon as possible.
A BT spokesperson said: “We’re aware of a fault affecting some broadband customers in the Christchurch area of Dorset.
"Engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.
"Calls made from mobiles, including 999 calls from mobiles, and most landline services are not affected.”
The Daily Echo has asked BT for details on home many homes are affected by the issue and when services are likely to resume.
