SPURLING John Passed away peacefully on 11th October 2020 at Forest Holme after a short illness. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jane. Much loved and loving Dad to Kate, Pete, Tammy & Ben and a very special father-in-law to Ruth, Matt, Sarah & Russell. Devoted Papa to grandchildren Harry, Charlie, the late Tom, Phoebe, Lydie, Emily, Daisy & Rose. He will be so sadly missed by us all and his many friends & clients. Due to the current health crisis, a private funeral service will be held for John shortly. Used to work with John at National Westminster Bank, Landsdowne, in the latter part of the 60's. I was one of the typists. There were many of us youngsters & we used to get up to all sorts of things. John was a bit older & more sensible but used to join in nevertheless. Always remembered him. I left to get married & emigrated to SA.

John you were a delightful Gentleman, always gave us the correct legal advice. We shall always your happy times and being very supportive during difficult times over recent times.
