LOVIE James Alexander A longtime resident of Bournemouth, passed away at the age of 102. Mr. Lovie lived an adventuresome life, having been born December 5th, 1916 in Annandale, New South Wales, Australia. In 1923 he and his family emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At the onset of World War II James enlisted in the Canadian Forces and served in Belgium. After the war he trained at the Blind Institute in Toronto. Professionally he worked as an X-Ray Technician and later calibrating technical instruments. He will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, and cousins around the world and dear friends in Bournemouth. A Memorial Service will be held August 23rd at 2:15 pm at Bournemouth Crematorium West Chapel, Reverend Christopher Colledge, BCA officiating.
