WITH reference to Snapshots of the Past (February 1) and recent letters on the ‘town’s gossip shop’, El Cabala, it really was the ‘in place’.
Upstairs was the place to be seen.
I used to go there in the early 60s with my then date Andy Summers who later went on to be with the group The Police.
Ahhh, those were the days.
