HAVING read the recent news of the sacking from the Council Cabinet of Cllr Nicola Greene, by the leader of Bournemouth Council Cllr Peter Charon, I was appalled to hear such news.
I have on a number of occasions worked with Cllr Nicola Greene in the capacity of the Ward Forum, and have found Nicola to be a true stalwart towards the Conservative movement of the borough.
Nicola Greene has represented the Ward with flare, and has helped, alongside other Cllrs of the ward, in ensuring that we are all well represented.
I am not a Conservative, but putting that aside, I have found Nicola Greene to be representative of the residents of the ward, rather than a political figure.
Cllr Charon believes that his way is the only way. As far as I am concerned he has taken his leadership beyond the realms of a good leader in the sacking of Cllr Nicola Greene.
I hope that Cllr Greene will continue to represent the Ward she has served so well, alongside other council representatives.
