I suffered a heart attack last Saturday night after watching Match of the Day – I don’t think there is a connection.
I was to A&E in Poole and ended up at the Royal Bournemouth.
I would like to thank all the staff who helped me – Amanda in A&E, Tanya in CCU, Paul from Liverpool – all were wonderful.
And in Bournemouth the staff on ward 21 were fantastic. I can’t remember all their names! There was Helen, and a tall confident nurse, and the pretty one whose Air Festival weekend had been rained off. Every one of them was fantastic.
I should also mention Dr Bruce and her team in Poole, and Dr Swallow in Bournemouth, together with Dr Fernandes and Dr Hobson. They were just doing their job I suppose, but I can’t thank them enough.
