HAVING just witnessed yet another woefully inept display of football from the England team, I was so incensed by the poor display against the Germans that I thought “Yes – I’ve had enough”!

I am a 73-year-old pensioner and a season ticket holder at AFC Bournemouth and was involved in local football for years in my younger days.

This latest display by an England team must rank as the worst in my memory.

The grossly overpaid and under achieving so called Premiership players should hang their heads in shame and hang up their boots.

The bloated salaries of these so called stars are funded by Sky Sports subscriptions paid for by hard working supporters and pensioners like me.

Distribution of the Sky wealth is unfairly shared among all league clubs with the Premiership grabbing a disproportionate amount, leaving the crumbs to the lower leagues. The money raised for the Premiership is then stuffed into the so called stars’ pockets to make salaries far beyond the imagination of ordinary folk.

I blame the FA for appointing a foreign manager who has difficulty with our language and has no idea about motivating an England team. Make no mistake Fabio will not resign, he is on a nice fat salary.

Finally, because of the unfair distribution of Sky wealth, I am going to cancel my subscription to Sky Sports and urge others to do the same. Who would then pay these inflated salaries to the players?
