READING the letters regarding the Question Time programme with Nick Griffin in the hot seat, I was personally appalled at the way each individual on that panel conducted themselves – in particular the question-master.

The whole programme was a fiasco. The sight of Jack Straw’s determination to avoid eye contact with Nick Griffin was positively childish.

Undoubtedly, the BNP has gained seats for one reason only – the dismal failure in restricting immigration into this country.

The door has been left well and truly open to all for a very long time.

The vast majority of citizens do not agree with any other issue the BNP promotes, except that of immigration.

With our present benefits system, it is little wonder that the majority of immigrants want to live here.

Until this issue is addressed and numbers entering the country are checked and modified, the BNP will only gain further momentum.
