'How can Freeport scheme ever be environment friendly?'
I WONDER how many readers watched Channel 4 News (April 28) where is was shown a map of all the most polluted areas within the UK.
That included the Southampton/Solent Freeport area, and that of the Bournemouth. Christchurch and Poole authority.
How can the Freeport scheme ever be environment friendly?
How can building huge skyscrapers along the South Coast be safe, yet alone, where would all the sewerage go?
The report did say, even rural areas (I suggest the New Forest) are not being protected from pollution and the air quality is down on recommended standards.
