HERE we go again. The few spoiling things for the majority.

I am talking about the ice cream vendor being banned from the Hatchet Pond area and the proposed closure of the car park and the proposed opening another in a different place.

Plus the public toilets there have also been closed.

For many years families and elderly couples have been able to park there for, say an hour, to enjoy the view and watch the wild life whilst having a cup of tea from their flask, and depending on the weather, sometimes sitting in the comfort of their car whilst doing so.

If these proposals do happen I hope more seats will be made available around the pond as if the elderly have to walk from another car park they will require somewhere to sit afterwards.

As I say it is always the few spoiling things for the majority.
