BRITISH pensioners are living in poverty.
With the cost of living rising at its fastest rate for 10 years pension increases are being paid out well below the cost of living and do not cover increases in food, light, and heating.
The result will be that pensioners this winter are going to die in ever-increasing numbers in the UK.
This is not what the British population intended to happen because if they did then they will know what expect when their time comes to retire and find out that their state pension will put them on a level of poverty not seen anywhere else in western Europe.
As for what you can personally do, you have elections coming up in May 2024 and if by then the situation has not improved then landslide them out of office.
